PRIMIR 2006-2011 inkjet technology development trend survey

In recent years, both small and large companies have increased their investment in inkjet technology in the printing market, packaging market, and other markets. In order to evaluate the rising potential of inkjet technology, PRIMIR specially commissioned ITStrategies of Hanover to conduct a research entitled "Development Trends of Inkjet Technology in 2006-2011".

This study excludes all members of PRIMIR, and focuses on five key markets, such as display cards, artistic images, packaging, decorations / textiles, and industrial products / plating products.

The ITStrategies survey results show that inkjet technology really occupies an important position in these markets, it can meet various customer needs. And can make people feel relieved when applying inkjet technology.

Why use inkjet technology? Inkjet is a technology developed by digital printing to match the workload and quality of traditional printing. It can provide all the advantages of digital printing processes. In addition, inkjet technology can perfectly combine fast and ultra-large format printing. To inkjet printing can adapt to various substrates and can provide technical choices for various markets.

Inkjet printing technology is mainly divided into three categories: thermal inkjet technology, piezoelectric inkjet technology and continuous inkjet technology. PRIMIR hopes that all three inkjet technologies will occupy the commercial and industrial markets in the future. Because piezoelectric inkjet technology can adapt to more types of chemical ink than thermal inkjet technology and continuous inkjet technology, it It has greater development potential and can open up new markets. The biggest feature of the large-capacity industrial type piezoelectric inkjet technology is that it generates very little heat, consumes little energy, and has a longer service life.

Some NPES members have also joined the ranks of developing new markets and applications for inkjet systems.

Inkjet head manufacturers have developed print drivers with complete, independent, and automatic control capabilities, as well as semi-automatic non-independent ink sticks or integrated large systems. At present, inkjet head manufacturers on the market are mainly divided into two categories: the earliest type of inkjet head manufacturers, such as HP, Canon, Epson and LEXMAX, mainly sell products to home users; Businesses, such as Fujifilm Spectra / Dimatix, Konica Minolta, Panasonic and Toshiba TEC, etc., do not have a large market base, and almost every business they do is for regular applications and new customers.

The integrators produced by Dainippon Screen and Sun / Inca are not just for selling this complex matrix system. The integrator requires the inkjet head, computer motherboard, information processing system and application software to be integrated into a working system.

Chemical ink manufacturers (cooperative or independent) will synchronize with inkjet head manufacturers to develop inks for the new system. Under ideal conditions, ink manufacturers should follow the pace of inkjet head manufacturers to develop new types of ink. The purpose of this system is only one-to develop the market on a large scale.

Information processing system suppliers want to develop information control devices before and after inkjet, which can work with the development or integrators of inkjet heads.

Marketing companies: Marketing companies should provide products to target users like Heidelberg, and have received certain recognition. In short, such companies can also integrate or supply inkjet systems.

Customer: Generally speaking, if inkjet printing wants to enter a new and unknown special market, it is necessary to start looking for the target market in the research and development stage.

In 2005, the world ’s investment in inkjet technology was as much as $ 2 billion.

Some users who have purchased inkjet equipment have set their sights on the printing, packaging, and industrial / electroplating markets for secondary development.

At present, there is still a certain gap between the integration method of inkjet technology and the requirements of practical applications, people may have to invest more money and time for it. From the perspective of format, processing capability and printing quality, inkjet printing is most likely to provide services for digital printing customers. As for markets other than display cards, inkjet technology has little impact on traditional printing. In view of the strong momentum of inkjet technology, PRIMIR hopes that it can change the current pattern of the traditional printing market.

Microfiber wet mops have been shown to pick up more dust and dirt than conventional mops. A traditional mop design made of microfiber which fits standard mop handles, holders, frames and wringers are for better cleaning. Fits standard mop handles, holders, frames and wringers. The microfiber material is extremely durable and long lasting which can save money and improve results by converting to microfiber mops.  Priced competitively with traditional blended looped yarn mop heads, yet out performs traditional mops in cleaning & durability.
