This inspection method is mainly used to check light-transmitting points, folds, wrinkles, fiber bundles, cracks, irregular edges, fiber thorns, pimples, sand, holes and dirty spots. 3. Reflected light strabismus inspection Some papers, such as glossy or matte streaks, blanket prints, etc., are not easy to find with the head-up inspection method and must be checked with the squint method. Place the paper on a slanted surface or raise the side of the paper with both hands, and use the reflected light to look obliquely or from different angles. If you want to check whether the paper surface is fluffing, rub the paper surface with your hands first, raise one side of the paper close to your eyes and look diagonally at the light. If the paper surface is fluffing, you can see many small fibers standing on the paper surface. 4. Check by hand This method relies on sensory contact reaction, and is mainly used to check those paper diseases that are not easy to find by naked eye observation and must be touched by hand. For example, pimples and hard blocks (including sand, wood chips, etc.) must be used to touch in addition to seeing them first, depending on whether they protrude from the paper surface, and judge with the aid of tactile organs.
