Ozone is a trace gas in the earth's atmosphere. It is formed by the combination of oxygen atoms in the atmosphere and oxygen atoms, which are combined with oxygen molecules in the atmosphere. It contains three oxygen atoms.
Because it is unstable and easily decomposed, it cannot be stored as a general product, so it needs to be manufactured on site. The concentration of ozone made with air is generally 10-20 mg/L, and the concentration of ozone made with oxygen is 20-40 mg/L. Air containing 1% to 4% by mass of ozone can be used for disinfection of water.
The method of generating ozone is produced by a discharge method using dry air or dry oxygen as a raw material. Another method of producing ozone is electrolysis, which electrolyzes water into oxygen and then turns the free oxygen into ozone. The latter is used more in the ozone aging test chamber. Why choose to produce ozone by electrolysis? It has the following advantages, no ionic pollution; the water to be disinfected is the raw material used to generate ozone, so there is no other pollution from the outside of the system; ozone is dissolved when it is formed during the treatment, that is, it can be used Less equipment is ozone treated.
