Sacmi will launch two new capping equipment

From February 14th to 18th, at the 2006 plastics exhibition held in Milan, Italy, Sacmi will exhibit two novel capping equipments: the large-diameter press-molding and capping equipment CCM24L, and the fold-cutting and cutting-ring machine FSM.

CCM24L—The large-caliber compression molding machine is a capping machine that consists of 24 sets of molds and adopts the compression molding process. It integrates the latest technology and makes the large-size plastic cover look regular and accurate. It can produce large lids up to 63 mm in diameter with a maximum production speed of 400 lids per minute. Its cycle time is only 3.75 seconds. With extremely short cycle time and outstanding price competitive advantage, it can meet the demand of a large cover PE or PP cover market, making the CCM24L cover machine an ideal choice for customers.

In the process of making the cover, the anti-theft ring is completed by two auxiliary devices to complete the hemming and cutting operations. In order to save the production site, Sacmi Company has developed a series of folding machine with Flange-cutting ring function - FSM-folding and cutting ring joint machine. This merging machine is to complete the folding and cutting process in one production step, thus reducing the cost and saving the site occupation and labor. The combined machine's speed is 2,000 caps/minute, which is suitable for the folding and cutting rings of various caps on the current market. The maximum diameter can reach 63 mm.
