Changxing County is located in the hinterland of the Yangtze River Delta, on the southwestern shore of Taihu Lake, bordering Yixing, Jiangsu, and Guangxi Guangde in the north. As one of the main suppliers of national textile fabrics, garment accessories and curtain fabrics, Changxing Textile Industry has basically formed a relatively complete industrial chain from textile raw materials, weaving, printing and dyeing finishing to textile and garment production. The main products are chemical fiber fabrics and woven fabrics. There are 215 polyester and cotton products, 12 raw material production enterprises, 28 non-woven fabrics and adhesive lining enterprises, 12 printing and dyeing enterprises, and 6 garment and luggage enterprises. There are 76,000 textile machinery, including 72,000 water jet looms. There are 198 air jet looms, more than 1300 rapier machines and 520 warp knitting machines; nearly 60,000 employees in the industry. In 2015, the county produced a total of 7.5 billion meters of chemical fiber filament weaving cloth, 2.1 billion meters of printing and dyeing cloth, and more than 100,000 tons of non-woven fabrics. The industry's industrial output value reached 40.8 billion yuan, accounting for the industrial output value of the county. 34%. Changxing has also won the titles of “China's filament weaving famous city” and “China's lining famous city”.

Pinghu City is a national-level Torch Plan optical and electrical industry base. It has formed microelectronics, precision machinery and its equipment, and optoelectronics as its main products. The upstream and downstream industrial chain specialization projects are more comprehensive. The projects have been settled one after another. Pinghu is a famous garment manufacturing city in China. It is one of the three major luggage production bases in China. In 2016, 22 textile enterprises above designated size achieved a total industrial output value of 2.849 billion yuan, including: export delivery value of 941 million yuan; 2.838 billion yuan, total profit and tax of 336 million yuan, total profit of 240 million yuan, a total of 4,168 employees. In recent years, Pinghu has adjusted its industrial structure and focused on the development of industrial textiles such as non-woven fabrics. More than 10 leading enterprises in non-woven and sanitary textiles and automotive textiles have played a major role in the local economic development.

The relevant industries in these two counties have developed rapidly, and it has also confirmed from the grassroots level that China's industrial textile industry has developed rapidly and production technology has advanced by leaps and bounds in recent years. For example, in the non-woven process, the “double-comb double-shop” technology is still a new thing in the first two years of promotion and carding “high-speed wide-format” technology application, and has been widely used. While investing in non-woven production lines such as spunlace and spunmelt, several leading enterprises have been paying close attention to product quality, focusing on brand building and market convergence, giving full play to the advantages of production capacity and gaining a large market advantage.
