4 Corrugated cardboard box compressive strength reliability growth model and application

The reliability growth model refers to the mathematical description of the reliability change of a product from design, manufacture, and finalization to maturity. Its growth is shown in Figure 1.

It is known that the crushing failure data of three-layer (B-type), five-layer (CB-type) and seven-layer (ACB-type) universally-opened corrugated cardboard boxes are shown in Table 1.

4.1 Distribution Function Test

Taking a three-layer (B-type) corrugated box as an example, the data is statistically analyzed (the process is abbreviated) and its frequency histogram is shown in Figure 2.


Take f(x) as the ordinate and the compressive strength (x) as the abscissa.

After the distribution function hypothesis testing (process omitted), the corrugated box compressive strength (random variable) obeys the normal distribution "1", and the weighted average (mean) and standard deviation are:\=
