Savi develops RFID tags for use in harsh environments

The small form factor coupled with the protected RFID device keeps the tag in normal transportation conditions and maintains normal performance and features. ST-654 has a wide range of applications for the transport of munitions, but it can only be installed on the outside of containers, large mobile equipment, and inflatable pallets. In addition to the above characteristics, other features include: 128K bytes of user memory, effective reading distance of up to 300 feet, and a buzzer for sound position prompts, a solid miniature design that can withstand extremely high and low temperatures.

Savi's active RFID products have been successfully applied in the longest distance, worst weather conditions, and worst operating conditions (common in the military supply chain) environment. This active RFID tag complies with the ISO 18000-7 standard and operates at 433.92 MHz. This frequency has proven to be the most effective RFID frequency, which allows the label to bend over a metal object, such as a large ISO container, which can work effectively whether it is in a tracked state or in a stored state. .

Savi's active RFID tag family is based on the company's Echo Point technology, which uses UHF (433.92 MHz) and low-frequency (123 KHz) frequencies for long-range, more precise positioning applications.
