Study on Printing Quality of Different Properties by Inkjet Printing(11)

III. Analysis of LCH and Paper Properties

Since the inkjet printer used in the experiment has different color performance ranges for the CMYK color space and the RGB color space, so that its LCH range is different, the full-printing density is in the range of 100 to 0%:

1. The range of Lightness in each color gamut density of CMYK is from 90 to 45%, and Chroma (saturation) ranges from 90 to 5%.

2. RGB The range of lightness of each gamut density: 50 to 100% in the concentration range (100% solid color to 0% whitening), and 50 to 0% in the concentration range (100% solid color to 0% darkening)

3.GB Chroma range of each gamut concentration: 80 to 0% in the concentration range (100% pure color to 0% whitening), and 80 to 0 in the concentration range (100% pure color to 0% darkening) %.

(I) Analysis of LCH and paper properties at various CMYK concentrations

1. Analyze the Lightness for the results printed on the No. 1 printer:
In the full plate concentration range of 100 to 95%, Lightness shows a positive relationship to the opacity, whiteness, and glossiness of the paper properties, and the positive relationship between Cyan, Magenta, and Black is more pronounced. The brightness increases when the transparency, whiteness, and gloss increase. In the full plate concentration range of 100% to 0%, the concentration of the concentration of the CMYK regions is approximately the lower the concentration is, the higher the intensity of the curve is.

2. Print results for No. 2 printer against Lightness:
In the full plate concentration range of 100 to 75%, Lightness has a positive relationship to the opacity, whiteness, and glossiness of the paper properties, and the positive relationship between Cyan, Magenta, and Black is more pronounced. The brightness increases when the transparency, whiteness, and gloss increase. In the full plate concentration range of 100% to 0%, the concentration of the concentration of the CMYK regions is approximately the lower the concentration is, the higher the intensity of the curve is.

3. Print results for Chroma on the 1st and 2nd printers:
In the range of 100% to 25% of full plate density, Chroma has a positive relationship with the curve of opacity and whiteness in the paper properties, and it has a positive relationship with Cyan, Magenta, and Yellow. When the opacity, When the whiteness increases, Chroma increases. Glossiness is less obvious in the performance of Chroma (chroma), the curve change is less regular, and due to the change of its own glossiness is difficult to control in this experiment, it cannot be judged with the Chroma (chroma). relationship. In the full plate concentration range of 100% to 0%, the concentration of concentration in each region of CMYK is approximately the lower the concentration is, the lower the concentration is in the region where Chroma (saturation) is lower. (As shown in Figure 4-15 ~ Figure 4-20)

4. Print results for Hue (Hue) using the No. 1 printer:
Hue (hue) on the paper properties of opacity, whiteness, gloss and its curve at all concentrations showed a linear change and can not constitute a connection, only in the full version of the concentration of 100% and 95% of the concentration of Magenta negative relationship In order to further analyze the relationship between the curves, we separately design and fabricate CMYK color blocks with full plate density of 100% to 75%. Each stage is 1% decreasing in 26 stages. The analysis result curve is a single change and cannot be constructed. Connected. In the CMYK color gamut with a concentration of 0-25%, the curve does not change because the hue range is too low and the curves are not positive or negative. Analysis of the overall data Hue (hue) has no influence on the opacity, whiteness, and glossiness of the paper properties at various CMYK concentrations.

5. Print results for the Hue (hue) on a No. 2 printer:
Hue (hue) on the paper properties of opacity, whiteness, gloss and its curve at all concentrations substantially linear changes and can not constitute a connection, only in the full version of the concentration of 100% of the Black showed a positive relationship and concentration of 95% The Magenta exhibited a negative relationship. In order to further analyze the relationship between the curves, another CMYK color block with a full plate concentration of 100% to 75% was separately designed. Each stage was 1% decreasing and 26 stages in total. The analysis result curve Being a single change does not constitute connection. In the CMYK color gamut with a concentration of 0 to 5%, the curve does not change because the hue range is too low and the curve is not positive or negative. Analysis of the overall data Hue (hue) has no influence on the opacity, whiteness, and glossiness of the paper properties at various CMYK concentrations.
